I had a wonderful day today. I woke up bright and early and headed to Westmount to meet up with a whole bunch of others who promised to be there by noon, but as per usual, everyone was late. To kill time, I bothered Mama Jen at her work until Grant showed up. We both had a nice chat while we bought coffee. When we got back to the mall, Melissa showed up followed by Mustafa and then Naomi. We all bussed to Hawrelak park (where Jack, Danielle and later Cory, Clayton and Claire joined us) and spent the next 5 hours there rolling down hills, singing and improv story telling while the guitar was being played in the background. I BOUGHT A SPIDER MAN ICECREAM THAT HAD GUMBALLS IN IT.
Anyways, so I departed a tad earlier than the crew to visit my sickly friend, Jared. Me being me however, I got lost and ended up in the wrong neighborhood. Jared found me, took me to his place and we chatted for a bit until he decided that he wanted to film me playing gory video games. Thirty minutes of killing later, we ended up with some pretty solid footage. Mama Lane forced me to stay over for dinner and she gushed over how amazing I am (I love her) while Jared rolled his eyes. After dinner, we went on a walk and then ended up laying in the grass talking about our futures. It was a nice talk.
Overall, today’s been pretty fantastic.
